Free Fruit

As well as our healthy meals cooked by our own Kitchen Staff, We encourage children to have a healthy mid-morning break, consisting of fruit or vegetables.

Parents have commented that their children are more willing to try many more fruits than they would normally have done at home, after seeing their friends eating it.

Children from Nursery up to Year 2 receive fruit and vegetables from the School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme - SFVS -  which delivers the food to school, during the week.  A different piece of fruit or vegetable is available each day from a range which includes oranges, apples, bananas, pears, carrots, sugar snap peas, tomatoes.
