Year 3 Production - The Vikings
The children in Year 3 have been learning about the Vikings and this culminated in a wonderful production to parents on Friday 9th February 2018. The children's performances and costumes were fantastic, with the production being set against the backdrop of an amazing Viking ship.
Year 3's visit to Wagamama - February 2018
Greeks and Vikings classes visited Wagamama in February which they really enjoyed. When they got back to school the children wrote a recount of their visit. This is Divya's (Vikings Class) recount:
First in the morning we left school to go to Wagamama and it was very, very tiring. We got on the train and it was loud and bumpy.
Then we arrived at Wagamama and they greeted us very kindly like we were important people. After being greeted we were split into two groups; group 1 and group 2. I was in group 2 so we went to the noodle challenge. We had to get 50 grams of veggies in a bag. After that we saw two types of juices; raw and clear green. You need green apple, avocado puree and kiwi for clear green. For raw you need green apple, carrot, orange juice and tomato.
Finally we ate our noodles. I got rice noodles with tofu and veggies. I would highly recommend it for lunch.
