Our School

BWI is a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School in the London Borough of Hillingdon. We currently have a morning Nursery with up to 30 children and an intake of one class of up to 30 pupils in each year group. Each class has a full time teacher. We also have a team of Teaching Assistants who are classroom based. As well as our own Music Teacher, we have peripatetic music teachers, employed by the Borough, who teach various instruments. A specialist Modern Foreign Languages Teacher teaches French to classes in Key Stage 2. Primary Sport Development (PSD) teach and encourage our children to enjoy a variety of sports.

Collective worship takes place every day. Once a term we all go to St Martin's church for an end of term service. Twice a term, the Key Stage 2 children attend a Eucharist, either at the school or in church. At certain times in the year, all classes produce their own Celebration events, to which parents are warmly invited.

Children attend the nursery for half a day every day, prior to entering full-time schooling. The option to attend for 30 hours a week is also provided.
