Breakfast and After School Clubs are available every school day for all children attending BWI. Breakfast Club opens at 7.30am until 8.40am and After School Club runs from 3.15pm to either 4.30pm or 6pm. Parents have the option of using the club for mornings, afternoons or both. Payment is via School Money using either debit/credit card or childcare vouchers. For a list of associated childcare voucher providers please see the attachment below.
Children up to Year 2 are escorted to their classes in the morning and collected from their classes in the afternoon. Children from Year 3 upwards make their own way to their classrooms/the club.
Breakfast Club
£5.00 per child per day - 7.30am to 8.40am (including breakfast)
Breakfast club is not available to children under 3 years old.
After School Club
- £6.00 per child per day - 3.15pm to 4.30pm (including a snack and a drink)
- £9.00 for child per day - 4.30pm to 6.00pm please only choose this option if your child is attending an after school sports/dance/activity club (including a light warm snack and a drink)
- £12.00 per child per day - 3.15pm to 6.00pm (including a light warm snack and a drink)
Upon arrival all children will be offered a healthy snack of fresh fruit/vegetable/biscuit plus drink to re charge their energy levels before enjoying a range of activities including arts, construction, physical play and reading. Those staying beyond 4:30pm will be offered a light warm snack in the form of toasted sandwich, heated filled wraps, muffin with jam etc. ahead of their collection. Neither settings refreshment is intended to be a substitute for an evening meal and you can of course include something extra within their daily lunch packs should you wish to supplement what your child eats.
Bookings should be made in advance, via your School Money account.
Please note that After School Club is not available to children under 3 without prior discussion with the School. This is due to maintaining staff ratios and minimum numbers. Please contact the school if your child is under 3 and you are interested in After School Club.
After School Club Collections - Please wait at the main school gate (near school office) and we will bring the children out to you for the 4.30pm collection. We will bring them out from approx 4.25pm. Collection prior to 4.30pm needs to be arranged with ASC via email to the school office.
Once these children have been collected, the remaining children will eat and collections can start from 5pm. Please ring the bell at the gate to let us know you are there.
Nursery Additional Options
We are pleased to offer our School Nursery (3 years +) and Pre-School Nursery (2 years +) parents/carers some additional facilities, giving you the option for your child to stay with us until the end of the school day at 3.15pm. We also offer Breakfast Club and After School Club should you wish to use them.
Nursery AM Children
Current timings are 8.30am-11.30am. Children should be collected promptly at 11.30am unless you have booked an additional option.
School Nursery AM Lunch to End of Day
If you would like your child to stay until 3.15pm, you can add on the option of Nursery Lunch to End of Day at £18 per day per child. Your child should be collected promptly at 3.15pm unless you have booked After School Club.
Clubs must be booked and paid in advance via your School Money account.
Breakfast Club from 7.30am and After School Club from 3.15-4.30 or 6pm are also available and can be booked via your School Money account.
School Nursery 30 Hour Children (with 30 hour code)
Current timings are 8.30am-2.30pm. Children should be collected promptly 2.30pm unless you have booked an additional option. Please ensure that you provide a packed lunch for your child or book and pay for a lunch via our lunch provider, Colham Catering.
Nursery 30 Hour Extended Stay
This is an additional option for your child to stay for an additional 45 minutes from 2.30pm-3.15pm so they finish at the same time as the rest of the school. The charge for this is £5.50 per day per child. This extended stay must be booked and paid in advance via your School Money account. Your child should be collected promptly at 3.15pm unless you have booked After School Club.
Breakfast Club from 7.30am and After School Club from 3.15-4.30 or 6pm are also available and can be booked via your School Money account.
Important Information for all Clubs
If you would like your child to attend any of these clubs, please complete the Application Form and Parent Contract and return them to the school office.
Completed forms are required before starting at any of the clubs.
Please note that children can use Breakfast Club once they have turned 3. If you have a requirement before they turn 3, please contact the School Office.

Music Lessons
We are delighted to be able to offer guitar and piano lessons, commencing after October half term.
The guitar lessons are free up to Christmas (due to a special promotion being offered by the tuition company) and chargeable thereafter. Piano is £6 per lesson.
The lessons will run at the following times, with a view to increasing this depending on demand. All lessons are group lessons.
