Breakfast and After School Clubs are available every school day for all children attending BWI. Before School Club opens at 7.30am until 8.40am and After School Club runs from 3.15pm to either 4.30pm or 6pm. Parents have the option of using the club for mornings, afternoons or both. Payment is via school money using either debit/credit card or childcare vouchers. For a list of associated childcare voucher providers please see the attachment below.
Children up to Year 2 are escorted to their classes in the morning and collected from their classes in the afternoon. Children from Year 3 upwards make their own way to their classrooms/the club.
Before School Club
£5.00 per child per day - 7.30am to 8.40am (including breakfast)
After School Club
- £6.00 per child per day - 3.15pm to 4.30pm (including a snack and a drink)
- £9.00 for child per day - 4.30pm to 6.00pm please only choose this option if your child is attending an after school sports/dance/activity club (including a light warm snack and a drink)
- £12.00 per child per day - 3.15pm to 6.00pm (including a light warm snack and a drink)
Upon arrival all children will be offered a healthy snack of fresh fruit/vegetable/biscuit plus drink to re charge their energy levels before enjoying a range of activities including arts, construction, physical play and reading. Those staying beyond 4:30pm will be offered a light warm snack in the form of toasted sandwich, heated filled wraps, muffin with jam etc. ahead of their collection. Neither settings refreshment is intended to be a substitute for an evening meal and you can of course include something extra within their daily lunch packs should you wish to supplement what your child eats.
Bookings should be made in advance, via your School Money account.
Nursery Additional Options
We are pleased to offer our Nursery parents/carers some additional facilities, giving you the option for your child to stay with us for lunch and/or until the end of the school day at 3.15pm. We also offer Breakfast Club and After School Club should you wish to use them.
Nursery AM Children
Current timings are 8.30am-11.30am. Children should be collected promptly at 11.30am unless you have booked an additional option.
Nursery AM Plus Lunch Hour
This is an addition option for your child to stay at school for the lunch break from 11.30am-12.30pm at £5 per day per child. Please ensure that you provide a packed lunch for your child or book and pay for a lunch via our lunch provider, Colham Catering. Your child should be collected promtly at 12.30pm.
Nursery AM Lunch to End of Day
If you would like your child to stay for lunch and you would also like your child to stay until 3.15pm, you can add on the option of Nursery Lunch to End of Day at £18 per day per child. This cost includes the lunch hour option above at £5 per child per day, along with the extended stay until 3.15pm at £13 per child per day, totalling £18 per child per day. Your child should be collected promptly at 3.15pm unless you have booked After School Club.
Both the above clubs must be booked and paid in advance via your School Money account.
Breakfast Club from 7.30am and After School Club from 3.15-4.30 or 6pm are also available and can be booked via your School Money account.
Nursery 30 Hour Children (with 30 hour code)
Current timings are 8.30am-2.30pm. Children should be collected promptly 2.30pm unless you have booked an additional option. Please ensure that you provide a packed lunch for your child or book and pay for a lunch via our lunch provider, Colham Catering.
Nursery 30 Hour Extended Stay
This is an additional option for your child to stay for an additional 45 minutes from 2.30pm-3.15pm so they finish at the same time as the rest of the school. The charge for this is £5.50 per day per child. This extended stay must be booked and paid in advance via your School Money account. Your child should be collected promptly at 3.15pm unless you have booked After School Club.
Breakfast Club from 7.30am and After School Club from 3.15-4.30 or 6pm are also available and can be booked via your School Money account.
Important Information for all Clubs
If you would like your child to attend any of these clubs, please complete the Application Form and Parent Contract and return them to the school office.
A one-off administration fee of £10 per child is required and should be paid via your School Money account. This can be found in the "Shop" section of your account and is named BASC/WAC Admin Fee.
Payment and completed forms are required before starting at any of the clubs.

We have a variety of Extra Curricular Sports Clubs available for children which run throughout the year. Please see the list below for prices and information.
Monday – Gymnastics – Year 1 and Reception
£35 per half term. Maximum places 16
3.15-4.15pm – pick up from the front of the school
Please note that this club will be offered to Year 1 in the first instance, and any available spaces then offered to Reception children.
Tuesday - Gymnastics - Years 2-6
£30 per half term. Maximum places 16
3.20-4.20pm - pick up from the front of the school
Tuesday – Netball – Years 3, 4, 5, 6
£30 per half term. Maximum places 20
3.20-4.20pm - pick up from the back of the school
Wednesday - Multi Sports - Years 1, 2, 3
£30 per half term. Maximum places 20
3.15-4.15pm - pick up from the back of the school.
Wednesday - Multi Sports - Reception
£35 per half term. Maximum places 20
3.15-4.15pm - pick up from the back of the school
Thursday - Multi Sports - Years 4, 5, 6
£30 per half term. Maximum places 20
3.20-4.20pm - pick up from the back of the school
Friday - Dance - Years 2-6
£30 per half term. Maximum places 20

The minimum number of children is 10 per club to make the club viable to run. If a club has less than 10 children taking part, the club will be cancelled until the following half term and then reviewed.
Please book and pay for the club via your School Money account. Please note that spaces are limited and maximum numbers cannot be exceeded. Refunds cannot be given for non-attendance. Children will not be permitted to attend the club without payment being made.
All clubs are renewed each half term and a notification will go out to inform you when the club is available. You will also be able to see it within your School Money account when it becomes available to book.
Please ensure you collect your child promptly. After School Club is available to book from the end of the sports club to 6pm. Please book this via your School Money account.
