Our children are thriving at this school. We have recently move to the area and we are very pleased to have chosen this school. They have transitioned very quickly, made lots of friends and even enjoy going to school. The class sizes are relatively small which I think helps.

I can’t recommend this school highly enough. My child moved during the school year and is so happy. He quickly settled in. As a small school there is a real sense of community: the children across the year groups know one another and play together. Every member of staff knows my child’s name and we are welcomed each day as I drop him at the school gate. The school knows my child and also my family: the feeling of belonging is very strong.

 

The curriculum is wide and diverse. My child particularly loves Forest School which takes place in all weathers and has many creative and mindful activities. More traditional subjects are brought to life with workshops and trips. There are lots of opportunities for children to pursue a musical interest with lessons, concerts and a choir. Out of school activities range from sporting clubs such as Netball, Football and Cross Country, to Dance and Gymnastics. The school offers wrap around care with both Breakfast and After School Clubs. These are run by members of staff and my child loves being with adults whom he knows. He enjoys chatting and playing with them and the other children.

 

I am very pleased my child is attending such a caring and nurturing school.

BWI is a wonderful school. Our daughter is very happy there, she settled in very quickly and it’s wonderful to see how much all staff at the school are invested in the children and their wellbeing both educationally and socially. There are a wide range of extra curriculum activities for the children to participate in. The strong Christian ethos and key aspects of Endurance, Trust, Thankfulness, Compassion, Peace and Humility run throughout all areas of learning for the children and help to support their personal and social development. I highly recommend BWI.
