Welcome to Bishop Winnington Ingram, affectionately known in our community as BWI, where I am privileged to serve as the Head of School of this esteemed Church of England Primary School. Our school is part of a collaborative family, working together with two other Primary Schools. This enriches the experiences and opportunities for our children and supports our staff.
Being a part of the BWI community and instilling Christian values in our pupils is a source of great excitement for me. Family holds immense significance, and I fully grasp the pivotal role of education recognising the crucial importance of a nurturing and high-quality school, I am committed to ensuring that every child has the chance to unlock their full potential.
The synergy between schools, parents, and caregivers is key to achieving the best outcomes for our children. I am thrilled to showcase my dedication, energy, and creativity in propelling Bishop Winnington Ingram toward excellence as a school of choice. Our offerings extend beyond the standard curriculum, with wrap-around care available from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, a variety of extended clubs, including dance, gym, and sports, an integrated Forest School Curriculum, Spanish and Music lessons for our Key Stage 2 children. These elements make every day at school an exciting prospect for your child.
